Kay’s is a classically trained ballet dancer and has been teaching Pilates for 16 years.
Kay initially trained in both mat and equipment classes at the Oxford School of Pilates – Alan Herdman method, and has continued her own developmental training with Amit Younger of BASI Pilates (Body Arts and Science) Pilates Group.
Kay teaches her clients classes tailored to their individual needs focusing on precision and humour. Kay wishes to make all her clients feel comfortable with the abilities of their own body, encouraging them to take their classes into their everyday lives.
Kay runs specialised classes for students training for vocational Ballet and Performing Arts Schools, e.g. Royal Ballet School, Ballet West, and Central Ballet School. She also runs a teen Scoliosis group, and classes for people who are receiving treatment or who have suffered from Cancer. Kay has recently completed a course in Supportive Care from The Hospice of St. Francis, Berkhamsted.
Kay enjoys running retreats and has done so in Tuscany for the past 8 years.
